Local girls and boys high school basketball teams will begin their quest for a coveted Gold Ball trophy today in the 68th annual Rome Seven Hills Rotary Christmas Tournament. Games will be played on the campus of Armuchee High School. Here’s the schedule:
In the new gym –
4 pm – Unity Christian vs. Pepperell girls
5:30 pm – Armuchee vs. Unity Christian boys
7 pm – Armuchee vs. Coosa girls
8:30 pm – Coosa vs. Darlington boys

In the main gym –
4 pm – Chattooga vs. Woodland girls
5:30 pm – Model vs. Woodland boys
7 pm – Model vs. Darlington girls
8:30 pm – Pepperell vs. Rome boys
The Christmas Tournament will continue at Armuchee High School through the semifinal round and will head over to Berry College’s Cage Center for the championship games on Saturday night.
