The Atlanta Hawks snapped a two-game losing streak with a 111-99 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday evening at the Amway Center down in Orlando, Florida. That allowed Atlanta to also assume a 2-0 lead in the four game season series among rivals in the Southeast Division of the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

Trae Young led the charge with a game-high 28 points. John Collins notched 21 points and 10 rebounds.

The Hawks improved to an even 14-14 on the 2021-22 regular season. They will return to their home court at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta to play host to the Denver Nuggets on Friday night; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
