Darlington School’s boys and girls basketball teams are each one step closer to hoisting the coveted Gold Ball trophy in the 68th Rome Seven Hills Rotary Christmas Tournament, following a pair of victories in the semifinal round on Thursday evening over the home teams at Armuchee High School. The Lady Tigers secured their trip to the championship round with a 61-30 win over the Lady Indians, and the Tigers advanced with a 69-23 win over the Indians.
Up next for the Lady Tigers and Tigers – the championship games, which are set for Saturday night at Berry College’s Cage Center.
