ROME LADY WOLVES AND MODEL BLUE DEVILS TO TAKE ON DARLINGTON’S LADY TIGERS AND TIGERS IN CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND OF 68TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT

Rome High School’s Lady Wolves and Model’s Blue Devils advanced to the championship round of the 68th annual Rome Seven Hills Rotary Christmas Tournament with victories in the semifinals on Friday night on the campus of Armuchee High School. The Lady Wolves advanced to the title game with a 76-18 win over Chattooga’s Lady Indians, while the Blue Devils beat Rome’s Wolves 62-55 to continue their quest for a Gold Ball trophy.

The championship games are scheduled for this evening at Berry College’s Cage Center. Rome is slated to take on Darlington in the girls’ game at 6 pm. Tip off is set for 7:30 pm as Model goes head to head with Darlington in the boys’ title match.
