The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Orlando Magic 104-98 in a battle among rivals of the Southeast Division in the NBA’s Eastern Conference on Wednesday night at the State Farm Arena. It was the second straight loss for the Hawks, who still hold the lead in the four-game season series between the teams at 2-1.
Cam Reddish scored a career-high 36 points for Atlanta. John Collins added 26 points and 11 rebounds. Orlando was led in scoring by Franz Wagner with 25 points. Both teams were shorthanded.
The Hawks fell to 14-16 on the 2021-22 regular season. They will be on the road tonight to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. Tip off is slated for 7 pm. The game will be televised on Bally Sports Southeast.
