ATLANTA HAWKS DROP MATCH OUT IN PORTLAND, OR TO TRAIL BLAZERS

The Atlanta Hawks fell to 1-2 on their current six-game road trip with a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers by a final score of 136-131 on Monday night out in Portland, Oregon.

Trae Young scored an NBA season-best 56 points for the Hawks; he also had 14 assists. Clint Capela had 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Anfernee Simons had a team-high 43 points for the Trail Blazers, who ended a four-game losing skid.

The Hawks are now 16-20 on the 2021-2022 regular season. They will be in Sacramento, California for a match versus the Kings on Wednesday night; tip off is set for 10 pm Eastern.
