The 2022 session of the Georgia General Assembly is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 10th.

Eddie Lumsden of Armuchee, who represents the 12th District in the Georgia House of Representatives, will be tackling matters related to insurance as the Chair of the House Insurance Committee. Among those – measures intended to level the playing field for the increasingly popular ride share industry.

Lumsden has also been dealing with issues related to dental and automobile insurance. He expects even more concerns to arise as lawmakers begin their work under the Gold Dome for ’22.

Crime in Atlanta, mental health, and constitutional carry are all anticipated to be among topics of discussion during this legislative session, says Lumsden.
