(Media release from Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation):
Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation delivered several athletic balls to Harbor House on Tuesday, January 4 to wrap up the Playtime with Santa program sponsored by Coca-Cola. All told, 600 balls were distributed to children by Parks and Recreation staffers during the Playtime with Santa event at Ridge Ferry Park, at Alto Park Elementary school, at Restoration Rome and at Harbor House.
“I’d like to thank Coca-Cola for once again being a great sponsor and partner and helping us to distribute these balls to kids during the holiday season. Our goal is to give every kid in Rome and Floyd County a chance to be active and have fun with sports,” RFPRA Director Todd Wofford said. “We look forward to partnering with Harbor House to help children in their programs get involved with our sports programs.”
