The 2022 session of the Georgia General Assembly got underway on Monday at the State Capitol in Atlanta.
Katie Dempsey of Rome, who represents Georgia’s 13th District in the state House of Representatives, asserts that she will champion legislation related to mental health once again this year under the Gold Dome.
Dempsey serves as the chair of the Human Resources Subcommittee of the House Approprations Committee, in addition to other assignments.
