ATLANTA HAWKS TOP MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES AT STATE FARM ARENA, TAKE SEASON SERIES

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 134-122 in NBA action at State Farm Arena on Wednesday night. That marked the second win in a row for the Hawks, who also swept their two-game season series against the T’wolves.

Trae Young notched a game-high 37 points for Atlanta; he also contributed 14 assists. DeAndre Hunter had 22 points.

D’Angelo Russell had a team-high 31 points for Minnesota, which has now fallen below .500.

The Hawks improved to 19-25 on their 2021-2022 regular season. They will wrap up their current four game homestand with an outing against the Miami Heat on Friday night; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
