GEORGIA TECH MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM TOPS CLAYTON STATE IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION

The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team beat Clayton State 103-53 in a non-conference match on Sunday evening in Atlanta.

Michael Devoe scored a game-high 20 points for the Yellow Jackets. Jordan Usher contributed 16 points. Jalon Moore and Dallan “Deebo” Coleman had 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Sunday’s game with Clayton State was intended as a replacement for another non-conference match against Alabama A&M that had been postponed prior to the holidays.

The Jackets improved to 8-10 overall and are 1-6 in the ACC. They’ll return to conference play this Wednesday evening with another home game against Florida State. Tip off is scheduled for 9 pm at the McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM, courtesy of the Georgia Tech Sports Network by Legends Sports.
