TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR CHIEFTAINS MUSEUM/MAJOR RIDGE HOME’S LOW COUNTRY BOIL & BARBECUE

Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home will host an evening of dinner, drinks and dancing Mardi Gras style at the Louisiana Hot Sauce Mardi Gras Low Country Boil & Barbecue event scheduled for Saturday, February 19that the Coosa Country Club located at 110 Branham Avenue in Rome.

Doors open for the event at 6:30pm, which features a full bar and a buffet of low country boil and barbeque with open seating in the Coosa Country Club ballroom. Music for dinner and dancing will be provided by musician Scott Thompson and The Clocktower of Power Band. A prize will be given for the guest with the best Mardi Gras mask at the event, which calls for festive cocktail dress.

Tickets for the Louisiana Hot Sauce Mardi Gras Low Country Boil & Barbecue are $90 each and include dinner and two drink tickets per person, with cash bar available. Tickets can be purchased online at the museum website, by calling the museum at (706) 291-9494, or at the museum. Portions of each event ticket sale are tax-deductible. Tickets are on sale until February 11, 2022. Credit and The museum will also hold a cash raffle as part of this event, with the winner receiving $1,000. Only 300 tickets for the raffle will be sold both before and at the event. Ticket holders are not required to be present to win. Raffle tickets are $25 each and can be purchased on the museum website, at the museum, or in person at the event, where the winner will be announced as part of the evening’s festivities. Credit and debit cards will be accepted in addition to checks and cash.
