COLLEGE HOOPS: GEORGIA TECH EDGED BY ACC RIVAL SYRACUSE IN OVERTIME

The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team lost to Syracuse 74-73 in overtime in an ACC bout at Syracuse, NY on Monday night.

Rodney Howard notched a team-high 19 points and had 10 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets, who fell to 11-16 overall and 4-12 in conference play for the 2021-22 regular season. Jordan Usher chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Devoe also had 14 points.

Four players scored into the double digits for the Orange, who improved to 15-12 and 9-7. They were led by Jimmy Boeheim with 20 points.

Georgia Tech will be back on their home court at the McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta to host Virginia Tech this Wednesday night at 9 pm. The outing will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM, courtesy of the Georgia Tech Sports Network by Legends Sports.
