MLB, MLBPA NOW HAVE UNTIL 5 PM TODAY TO STRIKE A NEW CBA TO AVOID DELAY IN 2022 SEASON

A deal has yet to be struck on a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between Major League Baseball and MLB Players Association, after16 hours of bargaining Monday and into the early hours of Tuesday. A new deadline is set for 5 pm today in order to avoid a delayed start to the 2022 season.
