ROME HIGH SCHOOL SKILLSUSA STUDENTS NAB AWARDS AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Rome High School’s career and technical student organization, SkillsUSA, took 30 students to participate in the 2022 SkillsUSA Georgia State Leadership and Skills Conference this past weekend in Atlanta. They returned with several award winning teams.

Darlyn Morales and Fiona Carey garnered gold medals upon receiving first place in TV (Video) Production. They will move forward to participate in the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta this summer.

The following student teams placed second within their field:

Ca’Lia Scott and Rekiyah Blanton – 3-D Animation

Malak Odeh – Legal Services Knowledge Test

Kim Ramirez, Joslyn Hicks and Edgerinn Wade – Career Showcase for Arts & AVTF

Isaac Parker and Haley Melendez – Audio/Radio Production
