FLOYD COUNTY ELECTIONS BOARD TO MEET TODAY

The Floyd County Board of Elections will meet today at the Floyd County Administration building. Caucus will be held at 5 pm in the Commissioner’s Caucus Room, Suite 204, with the meeting beginning at 6 pm in the Community Room, Suite 206, located in the County Administration Building at 12 East 4th Avenue, Rome, Georgia.

The meeting is open to the public. Citizens who wish to attend in person are asked to follow the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For more information, please contact the Elections & Voter Registration office at (706) 291-5167.

On the agenda – updates on the elections office’s move to the Floyd County Health Department and on supervisor selection. James Stephens, Euharlee’s City Manager, was picked by the board during a called meeting last week to be the next Elections Supervisor for Floyd County; the recommendation now awaits approval by County Commissioners.
