The Braves signed the ’21 National League Championship Series MVP Eddie Rosario on Wednesday to a two-year contract worth $18 million guaranteed, with a club option for the 2024 season. No buyout is included in that deal. Rosario will make $9 million in 2022 and 2023. He has agreed to donate one percent to the Atlanta Braves Foundation.

Atlanta’s beloved former first baseman Freddie Freeman reportedly reached an agreement with the LA Dodgers on a six-year deal Wednesday night. He took to Instagram earlier in the day to thank all Braves fans for their support over the years.

The countdown continues to Opening Day – there are now just 21 days until the Braves open up their 2022 regular season on Thursday, April 7th at Truist Park in Atlanta against the Cincinnati Reds.
