Tickets are selling fast for the Rome Area Council for Arts’ ’22 Firefly Fling, scheduled for Friday, April 22nd at 7 pm at Rotary Plaza in downtown Rome. The fundraising gala will celebrate homegrown talent and experiences. Lulie Ebaugh, Executive Director, urges those interested in attending the event and supporting the arts to get tickets now before they sell out. They are available at www.romearts.org or through any RACA board member.
The cost for general admission is $90 per ticket, adds Ebaugh, who enthuses that Scott Thompson will perform at the event.
In addition, Ebaugh says that local artist Siri Selle will create a live painting during the Firefly Fling. Her artwork will be on the auction block as part of the fundraiser.
LaScala Mediterranean Bistro will again provide catering, indicates Ebaugh. Proceeds from the Firefly Fling will support the mission of RACA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports the arts in this community via arts programming, education, promotion, and community outreach.
