FLOYD COUNTY’S PUBLIC ANIMAL WELFARE SERVICES TO BE OPEN SATURDAYS WITH NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY AS OF THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 26TH

Attention, all potential pet adopters! Floyd County’s Public Animal Welfare Services (PAWS), 99 North Avenue in Rome, will be open on Saturdays with no appointment necessary as of this Saturday, March 26th. Hours are 1 pm to 5 pm, according to Jeff Mitchell, Director.

Mitchell looks forward to a return to normalcy with the re-establishment of regular Saturday hours.

Adoption fees are $35 per feline and $40 per canine. Floyd County PAWS is also open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1 pm to 5 pm; appointments are not necessary on those days, either.

More than 300 dogs and cats at PAWS are currently in need of a loving home, asserts Mitchell.
