THE COUNTDOWN CONTINUES TO OPENING DAY OF THE 2021 WORLD SERIES CHAMPION ATLANTA BRAVES’ 2022 REGULAR SEASON

The countdown continues to Opening Day of the ’21 World Series champion Atlanta Braves’ 2022 season – there are now 16 days until the Braves open up their regular season on Thursday, April 7th at Truist Park in Atlanta against the Cincinnati Reds.

Ben Ingram, play by play announcer for the Braves Radio Network, expects the Braves’ bullpen to receive a significant boost with their addition of Collin McHugh, a former Berry College baseball player.

McHugh has played for several MLB teams over the years, most recently the Tampa Bay Rays.

And will Ronald Acuna Jr, a former Rome Brave, be back in Atlanta’s line-up any time soon? Ingram expects that his return to the field from a knee injury last summer will be gradual.

Catch every pitch as the Atlanta Braves aim to defend their ’21 World Series title over the airwaves of WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM. Tune in for Spring Training coverage from the Braves Radio Network during the next couple of weekends.

The Braves were dealt their first loss in Grapefruit League play by the Boston Red Sox 5-0 on Monday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida. They will remain in Fort Myers to face the Minnesota Twins today at 1:05 pm.
