THE END OF THE GEORGIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY’S 2022 SESSION IS DRAWING NEAR

The conclusion of the Georgia General Assembly’s 2022 session is drawing near. Monday, April 4th has been designated as Sine Die (or the final day of the session). State Representative Katie Dempsey, who represents Georgia’s 13th District in the House of Representatives, says that the session could end sooner or later than that date.

Lawmakers must agree to a final version of the state’s budget for Fiscal Year 2023 before this session ends, asserts Dempsey, who adds that constitutional carry and election integrity remain hot topics under the Gold Dome.

Residents of Dempsey’s 13th District are encouraged to reach out to her with any concerns.
