Only a week remains until Opening Day of Atlanta Braves baseball for 2022! The defending World Series champion Braves will begin their regular season on Thursday, April 7th on their home field at Truist Park in Atlanta against the Cincinnati Reds.
It was announced on Wednesday that Max Fried will serve as starting pitcher for Atlanta on Opening Day. First pitch is scheduled for 7:20 pm.

The Braves will be in Tampa, Florida to take on the New York Yankees on Saturday and back in North Port to host the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. First pitch both days is set for 1:05 pm.
Atlanta fell to Boston 10-7 in Grapefruit League play on Wednesday down in Fort Myers. Five of the Braves’ seven runs were scored in the fifth inning on a solo home run by Travis d’Arnaud, a three run homer by Adam Duvall, and another solo shot by Alex Dickerson. The Braves will play host to the Tampa Bay Rays this afternoon at 1:05 pm.
