HAWKS BEAT HORNETS TO KEEP PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE

The Atlanta Hawks remain alive in the NBA postseason with a 132-103 win over the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament on Wednesday night at State Farm Arena.

Trae Young led the charge for Atlanta with a team-high 24 points to go with 11 assists.

The Hawks will head to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers in the next round of the play-in on Friday night; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm. The winner will proceed to face Miami in the opening round of the NBA playoffs.
