ATLANTA BRAVES BACK IN ACTION AT TRUIST PARK WITH THREE GAME SET VERSUS CHICAGO CUBS; ROME BRAVES RETURN TO ADVENTHEALTH STADIUM FOR SIX-GAME SET VS.

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off day on Monday and will be back in action tonight at Truist Park with the first of three games versus the Chicago Cubs. Max Fried will be the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Marcus Stroman will head to the mound for Chicago. First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm. The Braves opened the current six-game homestand by dropping two of three National League East outings to the Miami Marlins over the weekend. Miami took Sunday’s finale by a final score of 5-4, although the Braves attempted to salvage the series with three runs during the bottom of the ninth inning.

Atlanta is now 7-10 on their ’22 season and tied with the Philadelphia Phillies for third place in the NL East.
