Gregory Wooten, Executive Director of Communities in Schools of Rome-Floyd County, is reflective as the end of the 2021-2022 school year is rapidly approaching. He says that he is proud of his team’s efforts to encourage kids to remain in school and be successful in life. He also anticipates a full return into the classroom in the next school year.
Volunteers and mentors are always sought by the organization, adds Wooten, who says that the pandemic might have slowed but did not stop the program.
