FLOYD COUNTY SHERIFF LOOKS FORWARD TO RECRUITING NEW WORKERS INTO LAW ENFORCEMENT AT PUBLIC SAFETY EXPO ’22

Floyd County Sheriff Dave Roberson is looking forward to Public Safety Expo 2022, slated for Saturday, May 21st from 10 am to 2 pm at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds in Rome.

The Sheriff’s Office will use the Expo as an opportunity to recruit some new workers into the field of law enforcement, attests Sheriff Roberson, who adds that good help is needed.

According to an event flyer, the Expo will feature fun activities for all ages, opportunities to see equipment up close, recruiting opportunities, and child safety seat inspections. There will be an equipment rodeo, a blood drive, fire trucks, SWAT, ambulances, a helicopter, and free gifts.
