ATLANTA BRAVES PICK UP SHUT-OUT WIN OVER MILWAUKEE BREWERS, ROME BRAVES OPEN 12-GAME ROAD TRIP WITH LOSS IN ABERDEEN, MD TO IRONBIRDS

The Atlanta Braves shut out the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game set in Milwaukee, which evened the series at a game each.

Adam Duvall scored the first run of the night on a Milwaukee error as Ronald Acuna Jr reached on a fielder’s choice during the top of the fifth inning.

Acuna made it to home plate in the eighth on a two-run homer from Marcell Ozuna.

Tucker Davidson was credited as the winning pitcher for Atlanta after giving up three hits, walking three, and striking out three in five scoreless innings of work. Kenley Jansen got the save. Adrian Houser was charged with the loss for Milwaukee.

The Braves will finish up their series in Milwaukee against the Brewers this afternoon at 1:10 pm. Listen locally on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; air time is 11:55 am.

And in a minor league update, the Rome Braves opened a 12-game road trip up North with a loss in Aberdeen, MD to the IronBirds 4-2 on Tuesday night in game one of a six game series. Game two is scheduled for tonight with the first pitch at 7:05 pm.
