Today is the final day of early voting in Floyd County for Georgia’s May 24th primary election. Voters may cast their early ballots from 8 am until 5 pm at one of two locations – the new Elections Office at 18 East 12th Street or at the Anthony Recreation Center at 2901 Garden Lakes Boulevard.

A handful of local, state, and federal races are featured on the ballots, as well as a proposed penny sales tax for education.

Local polls will be open on Election Day, next Tuesday, May 24th from 7 am until 7 pm.
