GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES LOOK FORWARD TO A BUSY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

Memorial Day is just one week away. Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites anticipates an uptick in visitors for the upcoming holiday weekend, according to Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator, who states that park visitors who are unable to find accommodations for Memorial Day weekend ’22 may want to go ahead and book now for ’23.

And be sure to visit www.gastateparks.org for a list of Memorial Day events and amenities at parks around the state, urges Hatcher.

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites’ ’22 Travel Guide may be obtained via the website, as well as at the parks and through the US mail by calling 1-800-864-7275.
