Democrats across Georgia are heading to the polls today (if they did not vote in advance) for the June 21st run off election. This election will determine the party’s candidates for posts such as Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, and a few others in November.

Floyd County’s Board of Elections and Registration have announced that they will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, June 27th at 3 pm at the new Election Center, located at 18 East 12th Street, Rome. Its purpose is to certify today’s Runoff Election. That meeting is open to the public.
