ROME-FLOYD CHAMBER HOLDS RIBBON CUTTING FOR THE NEW HELIPAD AT ATRIUM HEALTH FLOYD, INVITES THE PUBLIC TO ITS FUTURE RIBBON CUTTING EVENTS

The Rome-Floyd Chamber held a ribbon cutting for the new helipad over at Atrium Health Floyd on Thursday afternoon.

According to a release from the hospital, the helipad will provide quicker and more direct access for trauma patients requiring treatment at the hospital’s Emergency Care Center (ECC). It sits on the North Second Avenue entrance to the ECC.

Pam Powers-Smith, the Rome-Floyd Chamber’s President and CEO, enthuses that she was excited to have an opportunity to celebrate the new helipad (and to learn more about it). She adds that the Chamber is always eager to join its community partners to celebrate ribbon cuttings, as well as anniversaries. So inquire within!
