TRED of Rome/Floyd County, Floyd County, and the City of Rome invites locals to the official opening of the new Redmond Trail Connection. A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for this Thursday afternoon at 4:30 pm. Parking will be available at Greater Community Bank, Buffalo Wild Wings, and the Rome Post Office; walk to the new bridge on the Mt. Berry side.
According to the event Facebook page, this link has been 10 plus years in the making and served as the impetus for TRED’s formation as a non-profit trail advocacy group.
