ATLANTA BRAVES IN PHILADELPHIA FOR A NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST SET VERSUS THE PHILLIES; ROME BRAVES IN GREENVILLE, SC TO FACE THE DRIVE

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off day on Monday and will begin a six-game road trip tonight with the first of three National League East outings in Philadelphia versus the Phillies. Charlie Morton will serve as starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Zack Wheeler will head to the mound for Philadelphia. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm at Citizens Bank Park. The Braves are 10 games above .500 at 42-32 so far for the ’22 season and in second place of the NL East, five games back from the division-leading New York Mets. The Phillies are in third place at 39-35.

And in an update from the Rome Braves – that team also had a scheduled off day on Monday and will open up a six-game set in Greenville, SC against the Drive tonight. First pitch is slated for 7:05 pm.
