The Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority encourages the public to spend the day and evening at its Liberty Day Celebration, set for Saturday, July 2nd. In addition to fireworks at the end of the night, there will be a .5 K run, a sip ‘n stroll, re-enactments, opportunities to meet the founding fathers, pageants, and live music from Kneckdown. Cave Spring’s 38th annual 4th of July Parade will take place on the morning of Monday, July 4th at 9 am.
Fireworks will conclude the Patriotic Party in the Park to be hosted by Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation at Ridge Ferry Park on Monday. Information on that is available at www.rfpra.com.
