FOURTH OF JULY PARADE TO TRAVERSE DOWNTOWN CAVE SPRING ON MONDAY, LIBERTY DAY CELEBRATION SET FOR THIS SATURDAY

The 38th annual Cave Spring 4th of July Parade will traverse downtown Cave Spring on Monday, July 4th at 9 am.

Christa Jackson, organizer, invites the public to watch – or participate in – the parade. Homemade ice cream will again be sold outside Cave Spring United Methodist Church on Monday morning.

Participants are asked to line up between 8:15-8:45 AM. Motorized vehicles and horses should line up along Perry Farm Road. Participants who prefer to walk should gather at Cave Spring Outdoor Equipment (at the Old Depot) on Alabama Street.

The best place to view the parade is downtown around the Square and along Alabama Street.

Jackson urges locals to head to Cave Spring for the Liberty Day Celebration to be held on Saturday and then head back for the parade on Monday.
