The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center, located at 412 Lavender Drive, will host an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, July 16th from 9 am to 1 pm. It’s intended for residents of Rome and Floyd County only.
Emma Wells, Director of Solid Waste for Floyd County, states that the items to be accepted include televisions, computers, cables, and cords.
Appointments must made in advance via phone at (706) 291-5266 or online at www.floydcountyga.gov. Online registration is convenient and easy, says Wells.
