Donate blood and help maintain a stable blood supply. Every day the Red Cross must collect more than 13,000 pints of blood for patients across the country to prevent a blood shortage this summer. Encourage family and friends to join you in donating at the American Red Cross of NWGA chapter office on this Saturday, July 9th from 10a to 3p at 112 John Maddox Dr., in Rome. Drives will also be held at the chapter office on July 18th and July 27th 2p to 7p. A pint of blood from you could be a gift of life for someone in need.
