HABITAT FOR HUMANITY – COOSA VALLEY PLANS ANNUAL MEETING, SEEKS VOLUNTEERS

Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley invites the public to attend its Annual Meeting, slated for Monday, August 22nd at 6 pm in the Moon River Room at Harvest Moon Cafe on Broad Street in downtown Rome.

Betsy Allgood, Executive Director, attests that this 38th Annual Meeting will be a celebration of the past year and of people who support the local Habitat chapter. Those not already involved with the non-profit will have a chance to learn how to get involved.

RSVPs are requested by August 12th and may be made by sending an email to [email protected] or by phone at (706) 378-0030. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

Volunteers are sought to assist with Habitat’s current builds in South Rome on Branham Avenue and in North Rome on Gordon Avenue, adds Allgood.

Another way to support the Habitat mission is to shop at its ReStore, located at 504 East 1st Avenue.
