ATLANTA BRAVES TO RESUME 2022 SEASON ON FRIDAY NIGHT WITH FIRST OF THREE VS. LA ANGELS

Just one more night remains in the MLB All Star break. The Atlanta Braves will resume their ’22 season on Friday night with the first of three interleague matches on their home field at Truist Park against Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:20 pm. Listen to the game locally on WLAQ 1410 AM or 96.9 FM; air time is 6:05 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves currently hold a record of 56-38 on the season and are in second place of the National League East, two and a half games behind the division-leading New York Mets. The Angels are next-to-last in the American League West at 39-53.

The Rome Braves have joined the observance of the MLB All-Star break this week. They will be back in action this Friday night in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with the first of three games versus the Dash. First pitch is slated for 7 pm. That series will be followed by a six-game set in Hickory, NC against the Crawdads to close out the month of July.
