ATLANTA BRAVES RESUME 2022 SEASON OVER THE WEEKEND WITH THREE-GAME SET AT HOME VS. LA ANGELS; ROME BRAVES IN WINSTON-SALEM FOR SERIES VS. DASH

The MLB All Star break is over, and it’s back to work tonight for the Atlanta Braves! The Braves will resume the ’22 season with a three-game interleague series at home against the Los Angeles Angels. Charlie Morton will serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta in tonight’s series opener, while Shohei Ohtani will head to the mound for LA. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:20 pm. The game will be broadcast locally on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 6:05 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves currently hold a record of 56-38 on the season and are in second place of the National League East, two and a half games behind the division-leading New York Mets. The Angels are next-to-last in the American League West at 39-53.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves have also had a few days off for the MLB All-Star break and will be back in action this weekend with a three-game set in Winston-Salem, NC against the Dash. The first pitch of tonight’s series opener is slated for 7 pm.
