The Rome City Commission will meet in regular session Monday evening at City Hall (or the City Auditorium) on Broad Street. They will gather for a caucus session at 5 pm in the Sam King Room; that will be followed by their regular meeting at 6:30 pm in the Commission Chambers. Each is open to the public. The Floyd County Commission will meet again this Tuesday at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue in downtown Rome. Caucus will be held at 4 pm in the Caucus Room (Suite 204); that will be followed by the meeting at 6 pm in the Community Room (Suite 206). View the agenda for the evening at www.floydcountyga.gov.
County Commissioners will also hold a Special Called Meeting for the second Public Hearing for the FY2022 millage rate on Tuesday at 8 am in the Community Room on the second floor of the Admin Building. In addition, a LOST (Local Option Sales Tax) Committee meeting will be held at 10:30 am in the Caucus Room.
