The Rome City Commission will gather for a planning retreat this Thursday, July 28th at the Rome-Floyd Fire Administration Building located at 409 East 12th Street. Lunch is set for 11:30 am with the meeting to begin at 12:30 pm and continue throughout the day.
Commissioners’ discussion topics will include elections, Banty Jones Park, South Rome Alliance, parks and recreation, creating a local professional hall of fame, public safety, LOST (local option sales tax), trails, and utility permit process.
