ATLANTA BRAVES HOST ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS, ROME BRAVES CONTINUE SERIES IN HICKORY, NC VERSUS CRAWDADS OVER THE WEEKEND

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled off day Thursday and will begin a five game homestand tonight with the opener of a three-game National League set versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kyle Wright will serve as starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Madison Bumgarner will head to the mound for Arizona. The first pitch is slated for 7:20 pm at Truist Park. The Braves are currently 59-41 on the 2022 season and in second place of the National League East, three games back from the division-leading New York Mets. The D’backs are next to last in the NL West at 45-53.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves dropped their third straight game to the Hickory Crawdads by 6-1 on Thursday evening in Hickory, NC. Those teams will meet in game four of their six-game set tonight at 7 pm.
