ATLANTA BRAVES IN BOSTON, MA TO FACE THE RED SOX, ROME BRAVES IN ASHEVILLE, NC TO TAKE ON THE TOURISTS

The Atlanta Braves had a scheduled night off Monday and will continue their current 11-game road trip this evening with the first of two interleague games in Boston, MA against the Red Sox. Charlie Morton will serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta, and Rich Hill will head to the mound for Boston. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm at Fenway Park. Atlanta opened this road trip by dropping four of five games in New York to the Mets; that included their first three-game losing streak of the year.

The Braves hold a record of 64-46 on the 2022 season and remain in second place of the National League East, now seven games back from the division-leading Mets (who defeated Cincinnati on Monday). The Red Sox are 54-56 and in last place of the American League East.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves were also off Monday and will be back in action this evening with the first of six outings up in Asheville, North Carolina versus the Tourists. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
