LOCAL NON-PROFIT BRIGHTER BIRTHDAYS LOOKS FORWARD TO MAKING BIRTHDAYS BRIGHTER FOR ROME AND FLOYD COUNTY STUDENTS DURING THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Local non-profit organization Brighter Birthdays eagerly anticipates making birthdays brighter for Rome and Floyd County students during the 2022-2023 school year.

Cristin Warden, Founder, hopes to serve over 2,500 students this year through the delivery of backpacks filled with toiletries, school supplies, party supplies and other gifts. She states that she looks forward to receiving feedback about those items.

Warden, who will soon relinquish her duties as Brighter Birthdays’ Executive Director to board member Amanda Hale, hopes to have birthday parties at the schools sometime during the 2022-23 school year after not being able to enter the classroom over the past couple of years.

Hale indicates that local businesses have provided plenty of donations for the new school year. Donations of pens and pencils are sought at this time, along with volunteers to fill the backpacks.
