ATLANTA BRAVES OPEN ROAD TRIP WITH WIN IN PITTSBURGH OVER PIRATES

The Atlanta Braves opened a six-game road trip on Monday night with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first meeting of a three-game series at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA. Michael Harris II led the charge offensively with a two-run homer in the top of the fifth inning.

Kenley Jansen picked up the save. Roansy Contreras took the loss for Pittsburgh.
