Heavy rains pelted Northwest Georgia to conclude the ’22 Labor Day holiday weekend, which led to flooding in Chattooga County and some parts of Floyd County.

The National Weather Service reports that a total of 3.2 inches of rain fell out at the Russell Regional Airport in Armuchee from late Saturday night through Monday evening.
