ROME LITTLE THEATRE TO CELEBRATE VOLUNTEERS WITH AN APPRECIATION EVENT THIS SATURDAY

(Media release from Rome Little Theatre):

Rome Little Theatre will celebrate the amazing group of volunteers who serve their organization with a special event September 10th from 1-4 pm. Hundreds of RLT volunteers give countless hours to bring the magic of live theater to the community each year and without them, RLT would not be able to survive.

RLT Executive Director, Mandy Maloney, said, “Rome Little Theatre has thrived for 90 years because of the unwavering dedication of people who continue to give so much to this organization. We love being a place where the community truly comes together to create something special for our audiences. Every person who participates whether onstage, backstage, or front of house is vital to what we do. We hope to honor their contributions at this event in a small way. We could never adequately thank them enough, but we hope they feel the appreciation RLT has for the gift of their time and talents.”

Anyone who has volunteered in any capacity or would like to know more about how to get involved is invited to attend. The event will begin at 1 pm with a time for fellowship and hors d’oeuvres followed by a brief presentation at 1:30pm, including a performance by the cast of “Little Shop of Horrors”. The public is then invited to stay for a free screening of the 1960 film of “The Little Shop of Horrors” directed by Roger Corman.
