Finster Fest 2022 will take place at Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden, 200 North Lewis Street in Summerville, on Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th from 10 am until 5 pm both days.
Tina Cox, Executive Director of the Paradise Garden Foundation, attests that the event will feature the works of more than 60 folk and fine artists.
There will also be live music from artists like the Pylon Reenactment Society out of Athens, along with author talks, kids activities and plenty of food, adds Cox, who asserts that the purpose of Finster Fest is to celebrate the arts and to showcase Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden.
Admission to Finster Fest is $5 each day. Children ages 12 and under will be admitted for free. VIP Art Patron tickets are also available.
Free parking is provided at the Walmart Supercenter on U.S. 27 just north of the Paradise Garden, with a complimentary 3-minute shuttle provided all day. Handicap parking is available at Paradise Garden.

The rock ‘n’ roll photographer Deborah Feingold has provided her historic photograph of Rev. Howard Finster published in Rolling Stone Magazine in April 1989 for Finster Fest poster and t-shirts this year. Collectible posters and t-shirts will be on sale while supplies last.
