DANSBY SWANSON LEADS ATLANTA BRAVES TO VICTORY OUT IN SAN FRANCISCO OVER THE GIANTS

The Atlanta Braves defeated the San Francisco Giants 5-1 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game set at Oracle Park in San Francisco, CA, which allowed the Braves to snap a three-game losing streak and evened the series at 1-1. Atlanta is now a half a game behind the National League East-leading New York Mets, who were defeated by the Chicago Cubs earlier on in the evening.

Dansby Swanson had a total of three RBIs to include a tie-breaking two-run homer in the top of the third inning.

Kyle Wright notched his MLB-best 18th win of the season after giving up just one run and three hits, walking three, and striking out four through five and a third innings. Jakob Junis took the loss for San Francisco.

The Braves improved to 88-54 with 20 games remaining in the 2022 season. They will wrap up their series versus the Giants (and an eight game road trip out west) this afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 3:45 pm Eastern. Listen on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 2:30 pm.
